Helping Poor Communities
There are several levels of our community research we at Accolades foundations undertake.
In simplest terms, our community-based participatory research (we primarily call CBPR) enlists developmental, social and health challenges, mostly affected by a community – typically in collaboration or partnership with others who have research skills – to conduct research on and analyze the issues, with the goal of devising strategies to resolve it. In other words, our community-based participatory research adds to or replaces academic and other professional research with research done by community members, so that research results both come from and go directly back to the people who need them most and can make the best use of them.
Networking and Fellowship
Accolades provide for its members; a professional platform, to build relevant professional- or business-relationships with each other. This we do to use the Professional skills and benevolence of membership in solving societal challenges facing communities.
